A husband and wife team pursuing their creative passions beyond their day jobs.

Hello, I’m Kate! I’m a federal employee by day, and I’ve always loved creating in the kitchen. After working from home for nearly four years, our workforce returned to the office in January 2024 and it prompted me to pursue this adventure. I grew up around a family who loved to cook and gather in the kitchen with a cocktail, music, and dancing.

My husband, Ken, is also a civil servant (that’s how we met), but he’s always had a creative streak. Initially interested in architecture, he ended up pursuing an international business degree. He grew up spending time fishing with his grandpa and seeing him avidly woodworking. He inherited his grandpa’s wood shop tools and began tinkering.

Our name, Raven House, is a reflection of our family roots. The raven is included in the Crocker family crest.
